YELLINGBO BERRIES

"Healthy blueberries make for an active mind!" says Kevin Collins, owner of Yellingbo Berry Farm, situated in the countryside 50km east of Melbourne.

This is a rich fruit district, bounded by the impressive landmarks of Mount St Leonard to the north and Mounts Toole-be-wong and Donna Buang to the east. Kevin's farm adjoins other farms growing strawberries, cherries, stonefruit and apples. Yellingbo has been an organic farm for 13 years, and Kevin regards himself as a purist, working hard to build the soil profile to produce top quality berries.

The farm stretches across 31 acres and nurtures 1700 blueberry bushes with an annual harvest of 4 tonnes.
